Another Huckabee video from our friends Jared and Matt!!!

Yet another Huckabee support video from Jared and Matt. These guys are SO talented. Thank you so much and enjoy!!!

From Jared and Matt:

Here's another video! Sorry for the long delay, but last weekend we were busy ON THE ROAD WITH HUCKABEE!!! Woo! What an experience! We wrote this song for the trip and performed it live for the first time ever in a rally at Clemson University (where Chuck Norris himself was present). That video can be seen on my favorites as provided by the gracious Alex Harris of hucksarmy.com.

This song, as you might have noticed, is to the tune of The Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Woman". Consequently Huck loves the Stones so he really liked it. :)

Lyrics:

I met a campaign blogger on his website
He told me that he liked my videos
He asked me if I'd like to meet the governor
I told him "YES!" and went to pack my clothes

'Cause I'm a Huuuuuuuckabee voter!
Gimme, gimme, gimme some Huckabee votes!

I found my hotel in South Carolina
Where the governor's team was gonna stay
He asked me to perform at his rallies
That blew my mind, so let me hear you say

Christian Leaders Friend or Foe?

My fellow bloggers, I have some great news. Mike Huckabee is a candidate that will stand up against those who want to harm this country and will also support fiscal responsibility in this country. Look at his record in the state of Arkansas. It speaks for itself. The proof is in the pudding.

The reason I title this article what I did is for a few reasons. One, I am fed up with so-called Christian leaders who claim to inform and educate the value voter's, yet make nonfactual comments that mislead. These Christian "political pundits", who have no formal training what-so-ever in political matters, are making statements that are hollow and lack the very credibility needed to help viewers understand the facts regarding the candidates. Two, statements by Tom Minnery, VP of Public Policy for Focus on the Family, hurt all those who listen to him. Tom Minnery said this statement taken from Citizenlink.org, "Well for heaven's sakes, our young men are dying in Iraq to help free Iraqi's from the chaos that is the result of Saddam Hussein. During a debate a couple months ago, Huckabee said 'we ought to stay in Iraq, we broke it and now we ought to fix it.' We did not break Iraq, Saddam Hussein broke Iraq by his iron grip."

I have some news for you Tom, Huckabee wasn't referring to the status of chaos the country of Iraq is in, nor was he attempting to summarize who or what "broke" the country of Iraq. Tom Minnery totally took what Huckabee said during a GOP debate out of context and twisted it into a criticism, much like the main stream media. Huck was referring to the fact that our military strategy going into Iraq, at the hands of President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld, was flawed and was also "broken" at the time Rumsfeld left office. Donald Rumsfeld was in the wrong position and served his position poorly while serving under President Bush's administration. Now let me clarify one thing, I voted for President Bush and would again in a heartbeat, but he has to be accountable for choosing to place Rumsfeld in the wrong place. Meaning Rumsfeld was a big reason our military strategy failed. The military strategy now has been successful due to great minds leading the fight in Iraq.

Tom Minnery should be ashamed of himself, as should the leader's of Citizenlink.org or better known as Focus on the Family. Focus must get a grip on it's people when making bold, incorrect statements like the one Tom Minnery did. When these kinds of statements are made, they hurt the credibility of your organization. Also, shame on Tony Perkins for making a goofy statement like the one he did on the same web-cast. Tony said Huckabee isn't a fiscal conservative and doesn't stand on the three legs that the FRC is looking for a candidate to stand on. What Tony doesn't understand, also because he is a not a educated political analyst as he is a trained police officer and politician, is that Huckabee has a record that supports his efforts as both a social conservative and fiscal conservative. Again, if Tony was looking at facts instead of simply spewing senseless information, he'd know this and we wouldn't be talking about it.

For those who can read the English language, do your homework, read the research and articles about the candidate you're interested in. No matter who you vote for, do the country a favor and vote because you know about the candidate. Don't just favor a candidate for one reason or another. Support a candidate because you understand about where they stand on all the issues that you value. Don't listen to people like Tom Minnery who support a greater misled agenda without the facts. Support a candidate by the facts.

When we as a nation and as a body of believer's support various candidate's, we should support them because they share the same biblical values and because of the facts.

Christian leader's should be friends, not foe's.

Support Mike Huckabee today because he is the person who will value Christian values and make all the difference.

Why Minnesota should support Mike Huckabee

It is easy to understand why people should support Mike Huckabee in Minnesota. Poll after poll has shown that people of Minnesota are as a general rule pro-life. So is Mike and he doesn't hide it. He was one of the first governors to march in a Pro-Life rally in Arkansas. He passed legislation making abortion harder. He set up a system where a mother could drop a baby at a police station with no questions asked.

And watch out in Minnesota if you advocate for any kind of gun control. Sure there are many people out there who are against guns and think they should be controlled better, but as soon as you start talking about deer hunting everyone seems to wonder who got the big buck. Mike Huckabee doesn't care only about hunting all though he is an avid hunter. He has come out and said there is a reason for the second amendment and it is not just hunting. It is about protection from a government that might think it should flex its muscles against the people. Without protection such as in guns what recourse do the people have. He consistently supported hunters and the rights to bare arms which is in line with the Constitution of the United States of America.

Find a small business owner who likes paying high taxes in Minnesota. I have never found one that exist. In fact all I have heard is grumbling and complaining about how bad Minnesota's road system is and why are we paying so much in taxes if nothing is getting fixed. Case in point the I-35 bridge that collapsed in downtown Minneapolis this past summer. Mike Huckabee fixed many roads in Arkansas while he was governor and he has been thanked by truckers associations across America.

Minnesota used to brag about how quality its education was. Arkansas's education was 50th in the nation until Mike Huckabee became governor. His refreshing opinions on the arts and the right brain as well as critical fundamentals have launched a refreshing comeback and Arkansas is now 8th in the nation.

Maybe this is just a biased writer who supports Mike Huckabee, but maybe we should look at the fact that Time Magazine ranked Governor Huckabee as one of the top five governors...

Huckabee Mr. Huckabee

This is another parody from Matt and Jared. Thanks guys. This is great stuff.

Here's another installment of our support parodies coming to you in full Huckavision. This time around Jared and I are bringing back the harmony heavy imitating the group that early on we were said to have sounded like: Simon and Garfunkle. The song, as you might imagine, we based this tune off of was their mega-hit "Mrs. Robinson". So if you get mad at us for mentioning Jesus and God you can take that up with them, that's their lines. :-P Interestingly enough we didn't have to change many of the lines since they fit so well but without much further ado, here are the words.

Lyrics:

Here's to you, Mr. Huckabee
Jesus loves you more than you will know
Oh oh oh
God bless you please, Mr. Huckabee
The White House holds a place for those who pray
Hey hey hey, hey hey hey

We'd like to know a little bit about you for our files
We'd like to help you help the nation now
Look around you all you see are scrutinizing eyes
Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home

Here's to you, Mr. Huckabee
Jesus loves you more than you will know
Oh oh oh
God bless you please, Mr. Huckabee
The White House holds a place for those who pray
Hey hey hey, hey hey hey

Forget about the hiding places, everyone will know
But that's the life of public service
There's no such thing as just the Huckabees' affair
Worst of all you've got to feed it to the press

Coo coo cachoo, Mr. Huckabee
Jesus would choose you if he could vote
Oh oh oh
God bless you please, Mr. Huckabee
The White House holds a place for those who pray
Hey hey hey, hey hey hey

Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon
Going to the candidate's debate
Sing about it, shout about it 'cause we've got to choose
If it's not Huck we're gonna lose

Where have you gone, Lady Liberty?
A nation turns its needy eyes to you
Woo woo woo
What's that you say, Mr. Huckabee?
You have got a plan for us today
Hey hey hey, hey hey hey

Huckabee Victory Medley

This was a fun video to put together as it contains not one, but TWO songs. It is to the tune of Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and Oasis' "Wonderwall" because of their bittersweet tone and the fact that they're in the exact same key and have the exact same chords in the verses. :-P As per usual, the lyrics are mine.

It's a celebration of Huck's victory in Iowa and yet a reminder that it's long from over.

Lyrics:

They all made fun of me
When I said I'd vote for Huckabee
Don't know where it leads
But on this road I know I'm not alone

They said the "college vote"
Was spoken for and that I'm on my own
So it's up to me
And J-money to show we're not alone

We're not alone, we're not alone
We're not alone, we're not a...

In Iowa the winds of change are blowing
And Huckabee's support is slowly growing
He proved that he is still a real contender
And that we're not alone

He won by nine percent
And showed it's not about how much is spent
So we the people chose
To stand beside him and we're not alone

He'll continue to fight
But not because he hates the left or right
He loves the ones behind
And behind him we'll stand; we're not alone

***

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna start slinging mud
By now I'm sure you've somehow
Realized he'll survive the flood
I don't believe that anybody
Will do a better job than he will now

Backbeat, the word is on the street
That he's got the competition scared
They were sure they'd heard it all before
But they found themselves unprepared
I don't believe that anybody
Fears the way they do about him now

And he's got forty-nine states still before him
But he's got our support to reassure him
There are many things that he said that he will do
When he's president

Maybe
He's gonna be the one to change things
And as for me
I'm voting Huckabee

Huckabee "Help!"

This is a great parody from two college students. Listen and check it out!

Because of the overwhelming demand for another song both here, on Mike Huckabee's campaign blog, and on www.hucksarmy.com's forums Jared and I decided to oblige.

This is a parody of "Help!" by The Beatles. It's a great song (and movie) and if you haven't heard/seen it you need to pause this video and do so immediately.

Lyrics:

Huck! I need somebody
Huck! Not just anybody
Huck! We really need someone
Huckabee!

(When... when I was young...)
When I was younger, so much younger than today
(I thought that I...)
I thought that I could go and throw my vote away
(Now... those days are gone...)
But now those days are gone, I know what they are worth
(There's only one...)
Now there's only one man I can vote for on this earth

Huckabee will take terrorists down
And fight to keep the right to life around
Illegal immigrants stay on your ground
Won't you please vote Huckabee

(Hey... we need a change...)
The USA will change in oh so many ways
(Let's break the bank...)
With Huck the IRS will vanish in a haze
(Give... their bill of rights...)
he'll give the veterans the rights that they deserve
(And sing and paint...)
And thinks that school without the arts is borderline absurd

Huckabee will take terrorists down
And fight to keep the right to life around
Illegal immigrants stay on your ground
Won't you please vote Huckabee (less)

Stephen Colbert and Mike Huckabee

I love this clip. This is a classic of Mike Huckabee. Check it out.

Breakfast at Huckabee's

This is a supporter video for the Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee that a friend of mine (Jared Shelton) and I made for his website. Hopefully the powers that be will put it up on his blog or something.

It is to the tune of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Deep Blue Something but the lyrics are by yours truly. And here they are:

---

You said you've got nothing in common
With the candidates to choose from
And you're losing heart
You'll say the Big Three don't do it for you
Their negative ads bore you
And you just might stay home

So I said, "What about voting for Huckabee?"
She said, "I think I remember that man,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked him."
And I said, "Well, he's the best hope we've got."

You see he's the only one who's for them
Faith, Family and Freedom
In the right order
So what now? It seems he's the best for us
He's even got Chuck Norris
Telling us how it's gonna be

(When the eyes of the ranger fall upon you
You better like Mike)

So I said, "What about voting for Huckabee?"
She said, "I think I remember that man,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked him."
And I said, "Well, he's the best hope we've got."

Huckabee is above it all...

Mike Huckabee's character is above it all.

Above all the slandering, jabs and what-nots that most pundits take for granted every morning they read their Washington Post and sip their cappuccino from Starbucks cafe off of Connecticut and Washington street.

What most pundits believe a "dark-horse" to be is someone who basically can't win. Their definition of Huckabee is a candidate who not only lacks the dollars and sense to win, but lacks the overall support to win.

Let the pundits cry in their coffee, er cappuccino.(sorry to those who drink cappuccino)

Huckabee won Iowa. He won in Iowa for a few reasons. Iowa, for one, is a predominantly religious and Christian state with many conservative citizen's and conservative voter's. Iowa is a great state, with people who work hard for their incomes and support those candidates who will reward their work ethics, family values and quality of life. Huckabee was such a candidate. Mike spoke in Iowa and the people spoke in Iowa!

Another reason Huckabee won in Iowa is simple. Iowans are smart individuals. Bottom line, you have to be able to discern whether you're getting taken to the cleaners or whether the cleaners are offering to make you clean. Mike Huckabee wants to start clean with this country. The people of Iowa recognized this and the result was Huckabee winning this caucus.

The New Hampshire caucus results will be great for Mike. The demographics are different in New Hampshire than they were in Iowa, but thats not to say he can't do well. Not to mention John McCain won New Hampshire in 2000 and is still very popular. However, with that said, Huckabee will do well in South Carolina and then on from there.

Huckabee's Iowa win will carry him through the next few months and more and more voter's will begin to see him for who he really is; authentic, real and humble. No one likes a sore loser and no one likes a braggart. Howard Dean proved this during the last campaign in 2004, after he bragged during a speech that eventually cost him his campaign. Al Gore proved that no one likes a sore loser when he lost the 2000 election, fair and square against George Bush. Iowa is a huge stepping stone and Huckabee will continue to prove he is the candidate of change, the humble candidate and the candidate of the people. Huckabee will continue to win. He will prove the pundits wrong and they will hate him for it.

Get out and get involved in your states caucus's. I live in MN, thus the blog name, and my caucus is February 5Th at 7pm.

I will be there, proudly supporting Mike and his God given ability to lead.

GO MIKE!!!

Mike Huckabee takes on Wall Street

I like this article by Bloomberg because it shows that there are strong differences within the Republican Party just like in the Democratic Party. I have heard of fiscal conservatives before who scream they could care less about abortion issues or anything that the social conservatives stand for.

Now the truth is coming out. Pretend your a Christian while running for or while in office to appease the social conservatives and you'll not only get the Wall Street vote, but also all the people who want to believe that our country has moral standards and we in the United States need to live up to those standards.

Sing Amazing Grace after 911 to appease the people and calm them. Meanwhile it is really just a show and is like Tinsel Town except for a whole lot scarier because Hollywood doesn't even try and pretend like they care about God or what the Bible says. But our elected leaders will try and make statements about God to make it appear like they are devote Christians.

I pose this question; if at the end of the day the Fiscal Conservatives are just about lining their own pockets then why do the social conservatives support them. Well there is one thing both the Fiscal Conservatives and the Social Conservatives have in common. Both groups feel very strongly that big government is bad.

I wonder how the Wall Streeters are going to kiss and make up once Huckabee becomes president.
